David trained with a local, two-partner general service practice. Following qualification in 1973, he moved to one of the largest international practices, where he obtained experience in a broad range of industries as well as business acquisitions.
In 1980, David joined Whyatt Pakeman Partners as a principal manager before becoming a partner.
Whilst one of David’s responsibilities remains that of ensuring the maintenance of the firm’s audit registration, he enjoys combining aspects of his previous experience in both small and large practices. He specialises in corporate matters, assisting unincorporated businesses and advising on acquisitions, litigation and employment legislation.
Outside the office, David is a governor of one of Bristol’s leading schools and supports his sons in their sporting endeavours, particularly since he retired from playing rugby!

Our relationship is on a personal basis, we have been with and known Whyatt Pakeman for so many years. They work well and are very friendly.
